I’ll publish this. Admin 1 and 3 can express their opinions below mine.
I myself think that by the time Lego brings Bionicle back (if it ever does, the chances are debatable), the G1 storyline will be but a memory. I think that Greg or whoever was in charge of the story should just say what he had in mind about the loose ends, then let the fan base continue with fanfics galore (not the Fake CrackJag Lunacy kind, mind you).
Basically, they should either reboot/reincarnate it, or make something that is in the same universe, but not directly tied to the original. This would avoid any confusion.
A complete reboot would be great, because that means Lego can go in any direction they want. I guess it all depends.
Would it be like Hero Factory? Probably not, considering that Lego won’t consider bringing back Bionicle for quite a while now that HF is successful. By then, HF will be something different I guess.
This is all hypothetical of course, we don’t know for sure if Bionicle will ever come back at all. But considering your question, I’m willing to delve into the hypothetical and hopeful.

Well think about it: We know that the Great Beings are an incredibly advanced species that travel from planet to planet “upgrading” populations and tricking them into working for them. The most notable example is Spherus Magna in the Solis Magna solar system. So a continuation on another planet would not only be possible but also interesting.

Settle that on your own. However, you and I both know that as soon as you can express Christianity in your sig, ALL RELIGIONS can express themselves in sigs, which leads to endless debate over hypocrisy, who’s going to what netherworld, etc. The amount of religions is dividing, where as marriage is unifying. BZP is trying to bring people together, not drive them apart, and that’s why this situation is getting out of hand.
Actually, the debate is long over, thank God. But you have a somewhat good point. Still, I wonder whether or not gay activism is something that belongs on BZPower. Oh well.

Oh, no, I complete agree, it doesn’t belong there. The only thing that belongs there is Lego-related material, no debates of morality. It’s inappropriate to have on there.
